Biography

Roel Hoogendoorn is one of the latest young Dutch producers and DJs who has just begun to plant some roots within the international House music scene. Born in the small town Badhoevedorp, located just outside of Amsterdam in Holland, this 19-year-old prodigy is ready to make his musical mark. His interest in music has grown throughout his life, and even from an early age, his intrigue with electronic music, in particular, has begun to develop.

Roel has been influenced by a variety of genres while growing up. First, he explored the massive sounds of Trance and the gritty elements of Techno, then slowly evolved into the Progressive House scene, where he has seemed to settle in lately. Today, Roel is an avid fan of James Holden's Border Community record label and the recent Experimental House movement.

Now producing music for a year and exploring a variety of styles, he gets his music more and more into shape every day. He is a very promising talent, already signing off his first several productions for two major upcoming releases.

Although Roel has just begun his career, there will definitely be a lot more to add to this biography in the near future.
